 
Georgette is a sheer lightweight fabric, often from such manufactured fibers as polyester, with a crepe surface.
Serging is an overcasting technique done on the cut edge of a fabric to prevent raveling.
These larger 60" georgette scarves, with all serged edges, are great for extra coverage and styling, especially with the 3" hijab pins.
FABRIC: 100% Polyester
Polyester is a manufactured fiber introduced in the early 1950s, and is second only to cotton in worldwide use. Polyester has high strength (although somewhat lower than nylon), excellent resiliency, and high abrasion resistance. Low absorbency allows the fiber to dry quickly.
